Skip’s Place
We recently did an investigation at a property on S. Broadway for Mr. Skip McCluskey. The property is currently under renovation and is primarily used for storage. The building previously housed Skip’s offices, was a private residence, a tavern, a whore house and bar, and a Court House and Jail. Skip has heard loud banging, things have been known to come up missing only to later reappear in obvious places and he has also had the feeling of being watched.
Although the building had no electricity, plumbing, water, or gas we experienced strange lights in the basement crawlspace.

Group members each felt cold spots in the basement throughout the night. At one point the three members of the group felt a cold spot between them in the basement. At that moment a picture was taken and a bright blue orb appeared in the picture.

Several investigators felt strange near a pile of dirt that was in the basement (the basement floor was dirt).

While sitting on the pile of dirt, Jen felt a pressure on her chest and had trouble breathing while sitting on a mound of dirt in the basement.

After finishing the investigation and leaving for the night, neighbors heard very loud banging coming from inside the building.

These pictures are great examples of the differences between dust and an orb. The first two pictures show dust. However, the third is clear, brightly colored, and taken during a personal experience.
Yeah Jen, at the moment the picture was taken of the orb we all felt a very cold spot in the middle of us. You can see us reacting to the cold spot and feeling in front of us. The interesting thing about that night was the fact that there was no electricity at all and we all seen lights in the basement. The basement had a very weird vibe most of the night.
Very true Eric. There were “lights” flashing in the basement in the crawl space under the house. Definately an interesting experience.
I personally dont think what you guys are seeing in the photo is an orb. I respect your professional opinions, and dont wish to dismiss any theories, but the alleged orb could be dismissed by a spect of dust, concidering your in a basement w/ a crawl space.
Another claim that was mentioned is a strong pressure on the chest of a female investigator and senses of being watched. those claims can be debunked, or dismissed from high electrical systems throughout the house. High elsectromagnetic fields, which can be givin off by breakers or wads of wiring can gain symptoms to living things such as paranoia and panic attacks.
Im not accusing your work as frauds, dont get me wrong. I,myself, am a beliver of the paranormal and have had a few experiences. But all im saying is simply some of the claims made can be dismissed. Again, please dont think im criticizing your work. I just wanna help and keep the mind open to other possibilities before making a decision on whether or not a place is inhabited by other beings. please feel free to e-mail me.

Mike, thanks for taking the time to visit the site. I would like to say that we think of every possible answer that we can come up with before ever claiming anything to be paranormal. We spent hours that night trying to recreate the lights we were seeing and trying to find answers for the pains that Jen was experiencing. The claims of being watch were from the client. No one in the group made that claim on this night.
The blue ball of light is different than any of the other pictures of dust that we have ever taken. The picture was taken because at that same moment several people in the group were experiencing a cold spot.
The pressures that were felt by Jen throughout the night were not caused by high EMF. The building had no electricity, running water or gas and had a very low EMF reading all night. We actually got a 0 EMF from the old circuit breakers.
We respect your opinion, but understand that we look at everything with a skeptical eye and will never claim anything to be paranormal if we can find a way to debunk it.
