The Green House
St. Louis Ghost Hunters were contacted to do an investigation in the suburbs of St. Louis. The clients were interviewed and indicated that they had a feeling of being watched in the house. The light and fan in the bedroom came on by itself and that the kitchen cabinets and drawers would open on their own. Most of this activity occurred when a resident was living in the home, but since that time the activity was not as noticeable.
Once the group arrived at the location, additional information regarding the activity was gathered. The residents stated that at times they feel there is something behind them when they are watching TV, that music will start playing on the computer, the doors in the hallway move on their own and showed the group the hallway that they felt they were watched. The equipment was then set up and the investigation began.
At approximately 3:06am, footsteps were heard going down the hallway. After the review of evidence it has been found that there was no one in the hallway at the time of the audio. Seconds after the footsteps, a noise that sounded like the master bedroom door opening and brushing against carpet. Attempts to recreate the sound by opening the door failed to produce the same sound. In Fact, the door wasn’t brushing against the carpet at all. Make sure to turn your audio up when listening to this.
Later in the master bedroom, the EMF detectors showed unexplainable electronic fields. There was an unexplainable dimming and brightening of the flashlight at the same time. Cold spots were felt by multiple investigators, as well.
Finally, upon reviewing evidence and EVP was found. It appears that there are two voices on the EVP: one male and one female. The male appears to be sayin “If you’re real let them ? know” Than a female voice says “yes”. This happens at about 10 seconds.
All of this activity and evidence was captured in the Master Bedroom. This activity is unexplainable, and therefore paranormal. We hope to do a follow up investigation at the location. We feel that there is additional paranormal activity to be captured.

This was such an active investigation. Trying to find the source of the foot steps and the sounds. The activity of the EMF detectors on the bed. And the clear audio EVPs. Such an exciting night.
This was my first time hearing convincing footsteps as an investigator. I was disappointed during evidence review that the audio only faintly picked up a couple of the steps. In real time, I would estimate we heard at least 5 steps. Hearing those live is the kind of thing I love most about being a paranormal investigator. It is thrilling and exciting to experience something like that. And its validating for the client to have someone else confirm that something really is going on on their home.
