Private Residence – O’Fallon, MO
St. Louis Ghost Hunters was contacted by a resident of O’Fallon, MO. The client reported that shadows of men have been seen walking and crawling through the master bedroom of her home. She has also heard footsteps coming from the upstairs and gets an uneasy feeling from the other bedroom in the home.
The group arrived at the location at 9pm and did a walk through of the home. We then set up cameras in both bedrooms of the home and one shooting up the stairs. The cameras in the bedrooms were set up in a way that any shadow in the rooms would be pick up on camera. We also set up digital recorders next to the cameras and in the attic. Each investigating team also carried hand held videos camera and audio recorders throughout the night.
During the investigation we tried to debunk the shadows by recreating them or creating any sort of shadow that could have been confused for anything that might resemble a person. We were unable to recreate the shadows as they were described to us.
We did notice that sometimes normal moving around upstairs sounded like running to the investigators down stairs. We are not saying that is what the client was experiencing, but we do beleive that it is something to consider. We also had a few EMF spikes in the smaller bedroom, but we could not connect them to any personal experiences or anything paranormal.
The only personal experiences of the night revolved around some noises that were heard in the living room. As Lindsey and Emily Rose investigated the living room they heard what sounded like two clicks coming from the corner. Neither of them were able to located the source of the sound. Later in the night Lindsey and Emily Rose were upstairs and again heard the clicks coming from downstairs. At the same time, Eric and Adam were investigating in the kitchen heard the noises as well. Eric and Adam confirmed the noises were again coming from the living room and again the area of the corner. Once again the source of the clicks could not be found.
After the investigation, we thoroughly reviewed all of the evidence and found no evidence of anything paranormal.
