St. Louis Ghost Hunters were contacted by Mrs. Nast about some of the weird things see and other had been experiencing in her home. Mrs. Nast claimed clothes have been moved in the bathroom and a chair has been seen rocking on it’s own in a bedroom. She has also witness lights going on and off in the dining room when everyone was sitting at the table.

However most of her claims happened in the basement, with most of the activity starting after her Grandfather passed away.  She has heard noises, seen shadows and even smelled her Grandfather’s cologne.  One day her little cousin was in the basement and something scared him, causing him to rum upstairs.   He said that a man walking around in the basement. Believing it might be her Grandfather, she showed the boy a picture of both of her dead Grandfathers and asked him if he ever seen either of them.  He stated that the one was the man walking around in the basement.  She then contacted St. Louis Ghost Hunters for help.

We arrived at the location, took a tour of the home, set up our equipment and began our investigation.  The group split into two group with one taking the upstairs and one the basement. Eric and Lindsey investigated the upstairs, concentrating on the bedroom that Mrs. Nast  witness the chair rocking on it’s own and has also seen shadows.  The two also spend time outside the home trying to recreate the shadows.  No explanations for either claim was found and the two experienced nothing paranormal in the upper level.

Jen and Adam investigated the basement of the home.  The two tried to recreate the shadows and noises the client claimed to experience, but once again no answer could be provided for the activity.  They did find that the uneven basement floor might be the reason for thing moving in the basement.

After a few hours of investigating the group all converged in the basement to continue investigating.  Again, the group experienced nothing paranormal.  They group then returned upstairs and spend quiet time in each room hoping to here some of the noises the client has experienced, however the group had no luck.

The night was very quiet and the group didn’t experience anything paranormal, not even high EMF.  St. Louis Ghost Hunters do not beleive that the home is haunted.
