Our Equipment
One of the questions we get asked the most is, what kind of equipment do you use? Here is some of the equipment used during investigations. We don’t always use the same pieces of equipment, it varies based on the case. Our inventory is constantly changing as we are always trying to add the latest ghost hunting tools.
4-channel DVR system – This is our 4-channel DVR system made by SVAT. The IR cameras are wired to the DVR and we connect the whole setup to our laptop during investigations. Both during the investigations and evidence review, we can watch all four cameras at once or each as a single screen. During an investigation, we might be in the dark, but we’re almost always on camera!

Caledonia Wine Cottage
St. Louis Ghost Hunters had the opportunity to investigate the Caledonia Wine Cottage in Caledonia, Missouri. Although it is now a wine cottage, bed & breakfast, and wine store, the location has a long history.
Private Residence – Highland, IL
ST. Louis Ghost Hunters performed an investigation at a residence in Highland, IL. The client believes she saw the shadow of a man walking from the bedroom into the hallway.
The group performed a thorough investigation and beleive that the shadow she saw was caused by a combination of car lights and mirrors. We investigated the entire evidence with no other evidence of paranormal activity.
Famous House
St. Louis Ghost Hunters was contacted by the occupants of a home on Famous Ave. in St. Louis. During the interview process it was determined that there are four residents in the house. Each had their personal experiences. The experiences included hearing foot steps on the stairs and into the kitchen, banging noises and falling items, a figure of a man and the appearance of an arm coming from the stairs, hearing laughter and giggling, and the shadows of children running from the house.
